Although we all know and love our some of our favorite Latino celebrities who were their culture on their sleeve. From J Lo to Mario Lopez, some celebs have certainly worn their Latino culture on their sleeve. However, there are some celebrities that we don’t know have some Latino in their blood. Here are some familiar Latino celebrities you didn’t know were Latino.

This Grammy Award winner has made her name and grasped our attention with her voice. However, did you know that Tori was partially Latina, with a Puerto Rican father?
Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi
Better known as Snooki, you’ve certainly seen her wild, adventures on MTV’s The Jersey Shore. Although her family is Italian-American, she was actually born in Santigo, Chile.
Kid Cudi
GOOD Music artist, Kid Cudi, whose birth name is Scott Ramon Seguro took us back with his Latin heritage. His father is Mexican-American, shocker!
Bruno Mars
This multi-Grammy Award winning artist has spoken about growing up in Hawaii, however, there is also a hint of Latino in his ancestry. Mars’ father is partially Puerto Rican which adds him to our list of surprises.

The basketball hero from New York also made our list with his surprising Latin heritage. The pro athlete is partially Puerto Rican from both his mother and fathers side.
Bella Thorne
This star stole our hearts at her young age from Disney Channel’s Shake It Up. It may be a surprise that Spanish was her native language with a Cuban father giving her her Latin heritage.
Fergie
We know Fergie loves her London Bridge but this mixed breed is an addition to our list with a hint of Mexican. She spoke in an interview with PEOPLE saying that her great grandmother was born in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Swizz Beatz
Swizz Beats, who we know from popular records such as “On to the Next One” and “International Party,” is also partially Latino. The hitmaker is Puerto Rican, as well as African-Jamaican.
Tessa Thompson
You may recognize this beauty from the theatre hits such as Creed and Thor: Ragnarok. Although Thompson was born in Los Angeles, California, her Latino roots come from her Mexican mother and Afro-Panamanian father.
David Blaine
We know him from the magic tricks that have you second guessing but one thing that is for sure is David is certainly on our list of surprising Latino. His father is half Puerto Rican, didn’t see that one coming!
