It’s June, gente! That means several things…
1) We are halfway through the year. QUE?! Yes, you read that right.
2) It’s officially summer. Dios mio, finally!
3) It’s officially summer, so it’s time to take all of your fun, bright fashion pieces out! Yes, I meant to repeat myself. It’s muy importante we don’t forget that it’s officially summer.
Although June bring about many more wonderful things, these three points sum up the best it has to offer us. Bueno, you already know what I’m going to focus on here. Fashion, of course! So, let’s go back to those brights. Take a cue from Salma Hayek’s Saint Laurent dress, and find yourself bright and breezy dresses to rock all season long. Summer is the best time to get away with and stand-out in bright colors, neons even, and colorful prints. It’s how we celebrate those extra long daylight hours.
Salma’s look is great inspiration for a fun summer outfit. Think a breezy, short dress in a bright color, a pair of metallic sandals (Try a pair of “gladiators!” They are so “in” this summer) and, instead of her snake cuff, go for an arm bangle. I think that would make the perfect ensemble for a night of cocktails al fresco, or a casual date with your summer love.
