Later this month, Carlos Santana will join the already-full lineup of superstars slated to participate in The Billboard Latin Conference. Taking place from April 27 – 30, in Miami, Florida, the conference will include a series of “Legends Q&A” sessions, which will serve as the culmination of the events.
Carlos Santana will be sitting down with Leila Cobo, of Billboard, for an intimate conversation about his more incredible journey in the music industry. From his humble beginnings in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico to his sold out arenas and millions of fans, the questions will cover Carlos’ teenage years in San Francisco’s Mission District, his rise to fame, and everything in between.
Leila Cobo, when asked about having Carlos participate in the event, said,
“He’s one of the great guitarists, Carlos’ style is so identifiable and relevant to pop culture; his influence is seen in varying music genres worldwide. There is no better way to end the Billboard Latin Music Conference and kick off the Awards than with this incomparable artist.”
