Two of the most popular Latin American restaurant groups in the DC metro area, Mio DC LLC & Latin Concepts: Guarapo, Chi-cha, Mate, are joining forces for a night of trendy cuisine designed to generate revenue that creates jobs and empowers new Latino culinary professionals.
This month’s Event for a Cause at Mio will benefit La Cocina VA. La Cocina VA is a non-profit organization that helps unemployed Hispanics obtain career certification and find and pursue job opportunities. They also boast certified culinary job-training courses for unemployed individuals.
