One of the best treats of fall fashion, once the air gets that nice chill to it, is being able to finally wear those comfy sweaters. You know that satisfaction you get when you crawl underneath your favorite blanket with a book and a hot cup of coffee? Consider sweaters your fashionable equivalent to that. They are perfect to wear by themselves or as a removable layer on top of longer or collared shirts. You can wear them with pants, skirts, and even dresses!

GiseleBundchenKenzoSweatshirtWant to get creative with them, and step outside the jeans and a sweater route? Try one of these ideas! First, try wearing a high waisted skirt and tucking a sweater in. You’ll be able to stay warm, while still accentuating your curves. Another cool way to wear them is over a dress. When you do this, the dress is transformed into a skirt. You can try this with all those summer dresses you are not ready to say adios to just yet. Also, remember vests? Those sleeveless jackets you keep wondering how can you possibly style them? Well, these look pretty cool over a sweater and add a layer of interest to your fall outfit… no pun intended!

Sweaters are also a great way to have fun with your wardrobe, as you can find them in all sorts of materials, prints, and designs. I’m loving Gisele Bundchen’s evil eye one. She kept her look fall appropriate and cool by going for an all black ensemble of skinny jeans, sweater and booties. By sticking to one color, she let the design of her sweater be the center of attention of her entire outfit.

What do you think of Gisele Bundchen’s look? What’s your favorite way of wearing a sweater this season and beyond? Copy her look with one of these eye catching finds.
