Dominican American artist, Leslie Grace, just made history, when she became the first Bachata artist to have a song featured on Radio Disney. Her new single, “Nadie Como Tu” (Nobody Else Compares to You), which features Fat Joe, was showcased last week on Radio Disney’s “Music Mailbag,” an online programming feature that allows listeners to vote on songs to add to the current Radio Disney lineup.
Sergio George, the President of Leslie’s label, Top Stop Music, and a legendary producer in his own right, commented, “This is a major milestone, not only for Leslie, but also for Top Stop Music. Radio Disney has been a major launching pad for many of today’s biggest international artists, and for Leslie to become the first bachata artist to get added on Radio Disney, is an amazing milestone in her young career.”
Adding to that sentiment, the Vice President of Programming at Radio Disney said, “We’re thrilled to add Leslie to our long list of artists who have made their mainstream debut on Radio Disney. Leslie is a tremendously talented young lady and we look forward to being part of and watching her star rise.”
