The Fast and Furious franchise is known for it’s “go BIG or go home” perspective on film making – each movie seems to have more explosions, more cars, more scantily-clad women, and of course, more impossible action sequences that separate the movies from any sense of reality. So, when we heard that Furious 7 would be hitting theaters this April we were less than trilled. Just another insubstantial movie in a franchise that should have ended six movies ago.
But, if there’s one thing they do well, it’s soundtracks, and Furious 7 is no exception. In fact, it just might be the best of them all. Now, we might be a little biased, because this soundtrack features a song by one of our all-time favorite artists over here at Latin é, Prince Royce.
His new original song, My Angel, debuted Tuesday on the Furious 7 soundtrack, and we can’t help but feel a bit closer to heaven every time we listen to it. My Angel is the kind of song that makes you fall in love, and it does it’s job well because we are head over heels for Royce’s sultry voice, smooth melodies, and sweet seduction techniques.
