On May 2nd, The Hispanic Heritage Foundation will host the first ever Latino Coder Summit. The event will be part of the LOFT Code as a Second Language national initiative, and will bring together Latino coders, programmers, hackers, developers, and computer scientists.
The goal of the summit will be to “debunk the technology industry’s greatest myths, and help mobilize coders from across the nation, both students and professionals alike, to celebrate Latino culture, innovation, and passion for computer programming.”
The summit will last just one day, and will be full of nonstop workshops, panels, and opportunities to network. Participants will enjoy the chance to redefine the landscape of computer technology using collaboration with like-minded latino students and professionals, all of whom have a passion for technology.
