After 21 years of making music together, Beto Zapata and Pepe Elizondo still have what it takes to make good songs into great music. Their band, Pesado, has recently released a new album, entitled Abrázame, and it is killing it on the charts. With 12 tracks and the Moterrey natives’ signature sound, Abrázame is full of love and heartbreak, norteñas, and cumbias. Some of them were penned by Beto Zapata himself, including the single, Que Áun Te Amo, which was the first single from the album and remains one of the most popular songs from it.
Currently, Pesado is promoting their album in Mexico City, and they will continue to promote Abrázame in Mexico and the United States in the coming months. In addition to that, they will soon set sail for a whirlwind tour of Central and South America, where their music is well known and fans are waiting with baited breath to see them perform live.
We’re sure that they won’t be disappointed.
