This weekend, celebrate Easter at Mio Restaurant, with an exclusive Easter Brunch menu. Come in and expect to be amazed by the range of dishes influence by Latin metropolises such as Puerto Rico, Lima, Ciudad de México, Caracas, La Havana, and San Juan, all crafted by Executive Chef Roberto Hernandez.
Sit down with your loved ones and pass around a fresh plate of Fried Yuca, warm up your appetite with the delectable Ensalada de Remolacha Rostizado, or dig into a huge plate of Pescado a la Plancha. The possibilities are endlessly delicious.
Standouts not to be missed include Tiradito de Chillo, snapper sashimi with candied kumquats, cherry and lime Vinaigrette, and crystallized culantro; Ensalada de Burrata or Crema de Malanga; Ratatoullie de Berenjena; Camarones y Vieira, pan seared scallop and crisp shrimp with smoked parsnip puree, and a black cherry reduction; Mero Crocante, phyllo grouper with butter poached fingerling potatoes and a Caribbean sour cherry emulsion, or Chuletón de Ternera, seared milk veal chop with yucca gallete and oregano brujo brown butter.
Desserts are just as enticing. Both the Dulce de Acerola with reserved Caribbean cherry and brulée queso fresco, or Tarta Cereza Negra, black cherry cobbler are not to be missed.
For the perfect pairing, an assortment of draft beer, bottled beer, and wines by the glass will be available, as well as Mio’s premium blend of 100% Arabica sundried coffee. Non-alcoholic beverages such as house-made Mango Iced Tea, Citrus Punch, Mint Lemonade and Guava Lemonade will also and priced be served and are priced from $3.50-$4.
