Here at Latin é we’re always looking for the best and brightest artists to support, whether they be singers, songwriters, actors, producers, comediennes, or, as is sometimes the case, all of the above. But what we love most is being able to share something truly incredible with all of you. As we strive to uplift and educate our audience about Latino culture, trends, and art, we aim to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the American Latino, which is why we’re excited to announce our new Latin é Diverse Books section, which will be the place to go for the latest in diverse books news.
In this section you’ll find éxclusive interviews with authors, updates on book-to-movie adaptations, and plenty of diverse book recommendations, focused on Latinos and non-Latinos alike. We’re hoping to be a conduit for diverse literature featuring the wide array of content, characters and situations our readers deserve. From strong female heros, racially diverse characters, and LGBT storylines, we want to promote amazing literature that reflects our nation’s (and our world’s) rich variety.
We believe that diverse literature brings everyone closer together by celebrating our differences while also highlighting our similarities. We’re psyched to be able to feature authors whom we feel also believe in cutting out cookie-cutter plot lines and swerving away from stock characters to create literature that has its own, very unique, heatbeat. Something we’re sure will resonate with all of you.
As we grow, this section will too, and we’ll be announcing even more exciting projects so stay tuned.
