Fame & Philanthropy, a Southern California based company that coordinates events for charitable foundations, will host an inaugural Academy Awards event Fundraiser on Sunday, March2nd on a private estate in prestigious Beverly Hills, California. Oscar Award winner James Cameron will highlight this evening as honored guest speaker at the gala, which will benefit Community Inspiring Today’s Youth (CITY).
CITY, the host beneficiary of the event, is pleased to be a part of an event designed to give it the jump start in funds necessary to plan its programs for the foreseeable future. CITY’s mission is to provide structured education and development programs for underserved youth that will teach children how to foster career building techniques in leadership, entrepreneurship, social integration, and communication. Originally founded in 2007, the organization is dedicated to working with inner city children and the development of its youth programs.
This high anticipated glamorous evening will commence with red carpet arrivals at 8pm, with many prestige talent such as Charlize Theron and Latin Sensation Noelia as well as officials and philanthropists from all over the globe. A special performance by Grammy recording artist Ne-Yo will also highlight the evening. 
Los Angeles-based charity fundraiser and executive producer of the event, Ryan Long wanted to spearhead events around the Academy Awards to help charities that would otherwise not have the resources to tap into Hollywood to raise money. “I expect to raise 1 million for charity”, states Long.
Tickets range from $100,000 for a VIP table package to $1,750 for an after party ticket.
