These days, it seems The Venetian Group is partnering up with all of our favorite artists. Just last week, we were getting ramped up over Domenica Brazzi’s new television program, which will air under UNO Productions (a part of The Venetian Group). Now, we have another reason to keep our eye on this powerhouse group, as they’ve just announced their recent collaboration deal with Latin star Marco Antonio Solis.
The Venetian Group will handle Solis’ upcoming album, Por Amor a Morelia, as well as a live performance in honor of the album’s namesake – Marco Antonio’s birth state’s capital city, Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
With a career that covers thirty-five years, over twenty million records, five Latin Grammy awards, several sold-out world tours, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Marco Antonio Solis is easily one of the most successful Latin artists in the world today. His signature style of Mexican pop, paired with his untouchable charisma, make it easy to fall in love with him. In fact, his songs have traveled the world, and been remade by other Latin icons, like Enrique Iglesias.
Now, after seventeen years as a solo artists with Fonovisa Records (later owned by Univision Music Group), Solis is ready to embark on a new independent artist track. The Venetian Group, with their proven record of helping other independent artists make it (think Prince Royce, Leslie Grace, and Luis Enrique), is a perfect fit for this new stage in Solis’ still-blossoming career.
