Five-time Grammy award winner Alfredo Matheus has joined the prestigious ranks as a Masterclass teacher at the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame. The class, which was held in Miami, occurred January 28, 2016 and was held in conjunction with classes from Vicky Echeverri and Lulo Perez.
TheLatin Songwriters Hall of Fame(LSHOF) was founded by Desmond Child and Rudy Perez in 2012 with the intent to create an organization exclusively devoted to highlightingartistic achievements within the Latin music community. The LSHOF has recognized Latin artists from all over the world including Cuba’s Emilio Estefan, El Salvador’s Alvaro Torres, and Spain’s Julio Iglesias.
As a part of their mission, the LSHOF provides workshops and showcases to inspire new talent.
No person was better to inspire young songwriters than Matheus. A jack of all musical trades and founder of Team Victoria recording label, Matheus has not only written his own music but also worked with some of the biggest names in music. In his decades-long career, Matheus has produced numerous hits andwith artists such as Marc Anthony, The Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, and Justin Timberlake.
