This year’s Billboard Latin Music Conference and Awards is bringing a whole new meaning to urban music. On Wednesday, April 29, hot artists like J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Justin Quiles, and Plan B will gather for The New Latin Urban Movement panel, moderated by Alex Sensation. The panel brings together a new generation of urban Latin music artists, all of whom have taken the charts by storm this past year.
Leading the pact is Balvin, whose singles have repeatedly spent more than 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, and who has spent the past year touring with both Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull. He’ll be beside Puerto Rican Farruko, who had a featured spot on Balvin’s track, 6 AM, and has several hits out currently as well. Joining them will be veteran artists Nicky Jam and Plan B, both huge stars in their own rights. Moderator Alex Sensation will use his vast experience DJ-ing both on the air and in clubs to bring them all together for an unforgettable discussion about the future of Urban Latin music.
The Billboard Latin Music Conference will take place April 27-29 at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach. The conference culminates with the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will be presented by State Farm, airing live on Telemundo on April 30.
