Raul Medrano, a Board Member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, wants to invite YOU to join him at the Stepping Stones Shelter’s March Madness event on March 28th! In addition to being an incredible non-profit, the Stepping Stones Shelter provides temporary shelters and support services to homeless families with children. The Shelter has been helping families make the transition from homelessness to stability and self-sufficiency since 1982, and Medrano has been a member of their Board since June of last year. Already he’s helped the shelter grow.
In continuing with that mission the Stepping Stones Shelter will be hosting an event, “March Madness: Give Families a Home Court Advantage” on Friday, March 28th, from 6:30-11:00p.m. and they want you to be there too.
This year’s event will feature a lively, “party with a purpose,” atmosphere, including a great buffet, drinks, games, music, and a fun auction of unique goods and services. Last year, the event helped Stepping Stones raise nearly $50,000 to fund their programs and services, and this year you can help them double that number.
To help, simply plan a delightful fun evening out with family and/or friends, and purchase tickets at the discounted early bird rate of $50 a piece.
This rate will hold true until after March 19, when tickets will be $60.
You can also donate items to be used in the Silent Auction at the fundraiser.
We are looking for: Material Goods (e.g., IPad, IPhone, Gaming Systems, Kindle, Sports collectibles); Services (e.g., Kids Camps, Dance Lessons, Wine Tastings, Golf Foursomes, Personal Chefs, Catering, Auto Details); Gift Certificates for restaurants, salons, and stores); Vacation Getaways (e.g., Hotel Weekend w/Breakfast, Spa Weekend, Week at the Beach or Lake, Timeshares); Tickets to local sporting or performing arts events; and other *Creative Items *(e.g., Paintings, Photography, Design, Sculpture, Videos, Crafts, and Special Theme Baskets).

In return for a financial contribution (listed below) to Stepping Stones Shelter at one of the sponsorship levels, you’ll receive a package of benefits that promote your organization’s community commitment and support in a highly visible way, to an expected audience of 200-250 public sector and business leaders:
Platinum ($2,500) – 10 tickets, table signage, large banner placement,and listing in our event program and website promotions.
Gold ($1,000) – 4 tickets, table signage, small banner placement, and listing in our event program and website promotions
Silver ($500) – 2 tickets, table signage, and listing in our event program and website promotions.
