Join The National Council of La Raza at the largest gathering of the nation’s most influential individuals, organizations, institutions, and companies working within the Hispanic community. The 2015 NCLR Conference is sure to follow in the footsteps of years past, “providing a forum for people in the business of social change to learn about ongoing and emerging issues in the community, connect with key community leaders, and generate partnerships with Hispanic community-based organizations.”
The annual conference will take place from July 11 – 14, 2015, and will include cutting-edge workshops addressing critical issues that affect the Latino community, five “meal events,” each with an audience of 2,000, and presentation from speakers of international prominence. Past speakers have included U.S. President Barack Obama; Attorney General Eric Holder; Senator John McCain (R – AZ); Senator Hillary Clinton (D – NY); award-winning author Sandra Cisneros; actress, activist, philanthropist, and NCLR Alma Awards Producer Eva Longoria; CNN special correspondent Soledad O’Brien; and more.
The conference also features special events such as the Helen Rodríguez-Trías Health Award Reception and the NCLR Awards gala. The National Latino Family Expo gives Latino consumers a chance to truly interact with more than 200 brands, and is open to the general public. That, and the promise of star-studded performances by the likes of Victor Manuelle and Tito Puente Jr., guarantee that there will be plenty of entertainment to go around.
