Brujas is back by popular demand, this five-woman show fittingly opened on October 31st at the Flamingo Theater Bar in Miami. The star-studded play, Brujas (Witches) stars a whole host of veteran international actresses: Chilean actress Angélica Castro, Karla Monroig of Puerto Rico, Mexican actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Fabiola Colmenares of Venezuela, and Miami native Roxana García. It’s directed by Cuban-Venezuelian actress Beatriz Valdés.
The play is about five classmates who decide to host a reunion dinner after 25 yearsapart. During dinner, hidden secrets reveal themselves as the women start recounting their past. This dark comedy will keep you laughing and in suspense throughout the magical night as lies, intrigue, and secrets take center stage.
