‘Mia’ is the LETNetworks Song of The Week
Whether you are an old fan or a new one, you better hop on the train quickly because Bad Bunny’s career is only going up from here. His latest single “Mia” featuring Drake has been taking over and entering Latin Pop to mainstream.
The Puerto Rican Latin trap artist initially gained his popularity from the music source SoundCloud. His 2017 single entitled “Soy Peor” was his first breakthrough musical moment. This was followed in 2018 with a number one single collaborating with Cardi B on her album “Invasion of Privacy.” He also won Artist of the Year in 2018 in the Latin American Music Awards.
In the latter of 2018, he released his debut studio album, “X 100pre”, which includes the hit single “Mia” featuring Drake. The album also includes singles such as “Estamos Bien” and “Solo de Mi.” He is scheduled to go on tour this year beginning in March 2019.
The music video has nearly 700 million views on Youtube while the track peaked number five on Billboard Hot 100. As the lyrics translate, “tell them you are mine,” this is Drake’s first time singing in Spanish since his 2014 single with Romeo Santos “Odio.”
