The story focuses on a humble man who is traveling with other immigrants who are trying to chase the American dream. However, when the coyote truck crashes down, the immigrants are forced to continue their path by foot. Now, they will have to face those who do not want them to enter.
As they continue their journey, the immigrants don’t know is that a violent-patriotic man and his fiercely loyal dog are patrolling the area and will do any possible to stop the immigrants from entering the country. The lone man faces tragedy and dangerous obstacles the closer he gets to the other side of the border. This face-off between the two sides is a strong demonstration of what real immigrants may face when deciding to go on this mission.
