‘Dora The Explorer’ Is Back With Live-Action Film

It’s official, the trailer for the Dora the Explorer movie: Dora and The Lost City of Gold has been released.

Our favorite Latina explorer has grown up and is returning to screens as a live-action movie. The movie is based on the Nickelodeon series which aired from 2000-2014.

In the upcoming film, Dora is not an elementary 7-year-old but is now a high schooler. Many fans were shocked by this growth when it was demonstrated in the trailer, Dora holding a knife. I know, hard to fathom the little girl we watched go on adventures with her monkey is grown now.

The film will entail a story of Dora attempting to adjust to high school. As she makes her adjustments, she and some of her new friends are kidnapped. It follows their attempt to escape and find Dora’s parents.
