Joseph Julian Soria is a TV and film regular, so we’re sure that you’re excited as we are to get to delve a little deeper into his life between takes and behind the scenes.
Let’s jump right in. You were recently on the hit series, Army Wives, where you got promoted to a series regular . How does that feel?
I was under the impression that that was the plan. But you never really know until you KNOW. So when I finally got the phone call from (E.P.) Jeff Melvoin I felt good, but also relieved.
Do you have a lot in common with Hector?
Mmm, no.
Can you share any funny stories from the set?
I have a horrible memory. But we were always laughing.
In addition to a wide range of Television work, you’ve also been in quite a few films over the years. Which do you prefer? Why?
As of now, my preference is to do both. Ideal situation is to be a key character on a series and do 2 or 3 films while on hiatus.
You co-starred next to Gina Rodriguez in Filly Brown. What was your favorite moment from filming?
No specific moment comes to mind. I just enjoyed working with a good friend
If you could tell anything to your 16-year-old self, what would it be?
“Dude, keep playing sports but get into the performing arts! You’ll love it!”
