Ozuna
Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado (born March 13, 1992) is best known by his stage name Ozuna. Ozuna is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap singer. Some of his biggest hits are “Si No Te Quiere”, “No Quiere Enamorarse”, “Dile Que Tu Me Quieres”, “Te Vas”, “Tu Foto”, “El Farsante”, and many more.
Ozuna was born in San Juan to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother, but was mainly raised by his grandmother. Throughout his teenage and college years, he found great inspiration for his musical career.
He began writing songs at age 13 and made his debut as a singer in 2012 with the song “Imaginando.” He previously went by the name J Oz. Ozuna worked with Musicologo & Menes and gained popularity. In 2014, he signed a recording contract with Golden Family Records and began to publish his songs on YouTube.
In 2017, Ozuna released many singles including, “Tu Foto”, which reached the 10th spot on the Latin Billboard and reached more than 720 million views on YouTube. He released “Se Preparó” in August 2017 and, as of September 2018, has more than 890 million views on YouTube.
In 2017, Ozuna won the category of Best Breakthrough Artist at the Premios Juventud and won the category of Best New Latin Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Also, he became the 2018 Billboard Music Award Top Latin Artist of the Year winner and the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Award Artist of the Year.
