February is a busy month with Fashion Weeks galore, birthdays and Valentine’s Day just around the corner. Needless to say it’s a great time to go through our closets to figure out what things work to wow the looking eye, and which ones don’t. This month is all about sexiness while keeping warm, and a hint of awesomeness to catch the attention of that guapo muchacho across the room, or the camera of the nearest photographer. Take out items in basic silhouettes that you can mix and match, and even stock up on neutral colors that you can make more interesting with cool accessories. Another great suggestion is to take out those pieces that may be simple, but do have an interesting detail like the short, black skirt with laced hem that Rocsi Diaz wore to visit the BET studio.
Her outfit is so fun and sexy, yet classic at the same time. The skirt and her legs become the main focus thanks to the length and the interesting lace detail that you see over her legs. The black and white combination is a classic, and I love that she amped up the sex appeal by wearing a cropped top. I know it is said that you should pick only one focal point to sexy-fy. However, here the cropped top with short skirt works thanks to the crew neck and long sleeves of the top. I would add a clutch in a bright color like red to make it even more fun! Needless to say, I’m loving this outfit. It can definitely take you from the front row, to drinks with friends, to a cita romantica with said guapo muchacho. What do you think about this outfit?
