Here at Latin é we love artists with plenty of passion, which is why we always get a kick out of bringing you the best and the brightest new stars. And boy, have we found someone great to share with you all… Born in Puerto Rico, Anthony Torres, also known as Anthony T, has had music in his veins since he was old enough to walk. In fact, by the time he was fourteen he could play six instruments, including the saxophone, clarinet, French horn, trumpet, tuba, and keyboard. Once he began singing with his father in a Latin band, he knew he wanted to pursue music and share his love for it with the world.
That’s exactly what he did.
Now in Houston, Texas, Anthony gives all the credit to his dad for instilling him with his love and passion for music. When asked about his feelings for his art, Anthony said, “I believe music is an important part of our lives… Music has the power to move your soul! I want to be a beacon of hope… I want people to listen to my music and feel better because someone else out there knows what they are feeling. You are never alone. Music is proof of that.”
Going back to his roots, Anthony began work on and finished his first Bachata album as a solo artist, with songs from that album creating buzz on radio stations around the world. His latest hit, “Todo de Mi” is now available on iTunes, and is definitely worth a listen (or twelve). We think you’ll like it as much as we do. Check it out…
