‘Vida’ on Starz Premieres Season Two Trailer

Season two of Starz network’s Vida is on its way and the trailer has its audiences excited.

If you haven’t seen season one of Vida, you only have about two weeks to binge the television drama. The series, created by Tanya Saracho, centers two Mexican-American sisters, Emma and Lyn, from the Eastside of Los Angeles. Following the death of their mother, the two sisters are forced to come together to face their past and identity.

Starring in the series includes Melissa Barrera as Lyn, Mishel Prada as Emma, Ser Anzoategui, Chelsea Rendon, Carlos Miranda and Maria Elena Laas. It was announced back in June 2018 that the show will be renewed for a second season and now the trailer is here.

According to Starz, the series holds the largest Hispanic audience composition. The series’ audience grew by more than 60% from the season premiere to the finale.

The second season will make its world premiere as an Official Selection of the upcoming 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. The 10 half-hour episodes of season two will premiere on Starz Thursday May 23rd.
