If you enjoy our #AmLatino segments, for sure you’ll love Nuestro Mundo. It is a student-run documentary show that takes a look at what Latin students have undergone and it helps to highlight and showcase the experiences of Latin and Hispanic students at Frostburg State University, located in Allegany County, Maryland. Frostburg is not an area that has a large percentage of population when it comes to Latin and Hispanic people, so this representation of the Latin students has a great importance to Frostburg’s Latin and Hispanic student community. And also, just like us, they cover a wide range of topics, from Latin food, inspirational Latin people, and how everyone can benefit from diversity.
This show was created and produced by upper-level Mass Communication undergraduate students in the Department of Communication under the supervision of Assistant Professor Annie Danzi. Frostburg State University is committed to experiential learning and diversity.
