Reykon “El Líder” (Andrés Felipe Robledo Londoño) is a reggaeton singer and songwriter from Colombia. Born in December 1986, in Envigado Antioquia. Reykon’s name is synonymous with that urban genre in his own country. His hit singles, from “Te Gateo,” “Se Aloca,” “Sin Miedo,” “El Besito,” “Tu Cuerpo me Llama,” “Tuturuwa,” “No Molestes Mas,” “Mi Noche” and “Cuando Te Vi” all have established him as an international star. In 2002, he co-founded the group RTM back in high school. After much trial and error, Reykon decided to go solo. In 2007, he issued his first single, “Come me Cuesta” unfortunately, it didn’t chart. In 2009, his single “La Santa” got a wide range of airplay not only in Colombia but in other countries as well. Then in 2010, his song “Se Aloca” won a nomination for Urban Song of the Year at the Shock Awards.
Moreover, in 2011, Reykon’s tracks received heavy rotated airplay throughout South and Central America and Mexico. As a result, it pushed him into the top tier of Urban Latin stars, and an in-demand collaborator for other artists. Then in 2012, Reykon is the first one to record with Daddy Yankee on the song “Señorita”. The song exposed him to a wider range of listeners internationally. Then, in 2014, his single “Secretos” topped the radio airplay charts throughout Latin America and it’s music video hit the number one spot on HTV. His extended recovery put his career on hold for the year.
Furthermore, in 2017, Reykon returned with his single “Dejame Te Explico” it received Platinum status in Colombia. The song also hit the Latin pop charts internationally. In 2018, Reykon released his full-length debut entitled El Lider. The album housed 12 tracks featured the collaborators like Daddy Yankee, Nicky jam and Luigi 21 Plus. Then the album included two remixes of the tracks “Secretos” and “El Error.”
